8 Day Itinerary in Peak Season

Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi – Amboseli

According to the international flight, our agency arranges airport pick-up in the morning, then proceeds to Amboseli National Park, the drive takes about 4 hours, arrive at the hotel to check in and rest, do a game drive at 3:40 pm, return to the hotel at 6:30 pm to rest and use dinner.

Amboseli: Located at the junction of Kenya and Tanzania, if the weather is clear, you can clearly see Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa at an altitude of 5,895 meters. Day 2: Amboseli – Lake Naivasha

Arrive at the hotel at noon to check in and have lunch. In the afternoon, guests can go boating on the lake, or go to Hell Gate Park to experience the shooting scene of {Tomb Raider}, or go to Crescent Island in the lake as a private animal sanctuary, with giraffes, Zebras, antelopes and wildebeest thrive here. 【Tickets/boat tickets for all activities on the day are at your own expense. ◆Naivasha located about 90 kilometers northwest of Nairobi, is located in the middle of the Great Rift Valley, formed by the collapse of faults. It is about 20 kilometers long from north to south, 13 kilometers wide from east to west, and the deepest water depth is about 20 meters. The lake is 1900 meters above sea level and covers an area of 139 square kilometers. It is the highest lake and the only freshwater lake in the rift valley. Day 3: Naivasha – Mount Kenya Safari Club

After breakfast at the hotel, check out at 8:00 and go to Mount Kenya Safari Club. The drive takes about 4.5 hours. Arrive at the hotel to check in and have lunch, take a short rest, and ride a horse for 2 hours in the afternoon to get a natural boost from the natural activities in the Mount Kenya Wildlife Sanctuary. And visit an animal orphanage, a chance to learn more about wildlife and help protect critically endangered sick and disabled critters.

◆Mount Kenya Safari Club located at the foot of Mount Kenya, the second highest peak in Africa, across the north and south of the equator, was built in 1959 by Hollywood movie star William Horton and others. The nature here is extraordinary. The surrounding 19,000 mu of wilderness is a wildlife sanctuary.

Animals can often be seen in the garden. If you like to watch birds, you will be overjoyed. The resort itself is a bird viewing area. Day 4: Mount Kenya Safari Club – Nakuru

 After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Nakuru National Park at 8:00, drive for about 4.5 hours, arrive at Nakuru, arrange hotel check-in for lunch, take a short rest, and Safari tour in the park from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

 

◆Nakuru National Park (NAKURU) is located in Nakuru Town, Rift Valley Province, covering an area of 188 square kilometers and an altitude of 1753-2073. It is a park specially established for the protection of birds. Lake Nakuru is famous for its flamingos. The lake is located in a volcanic zone, and the salinity of the lake water is relatively high, which is suitable for the growth of plankton, which is the staple food of flamingos.

In addition, there are about 450 species of birds in the park. In addition to birds, there are also many large animals in the park, such as colobus monkeys, jumping rabbits, clawless otters, rock beavers, and black rhinos. The area of the lake varies from 5 to 30 square kilometers depending on the rainy season. In 1960, the government designated the lake as a bird sanctuary, and in 1968 it was expanded into a national park. It is the first national park in Africa to protect birds.
